Kabuto Sumo Board Game
Pre-Order. June 2021 estimated shipping date.
Take on the role of a tough beetle with a bad attitude and something to prove as you battle for supremacy in the ring and your place in the pantheon of legendary wrestlers.
Kabuto Sumo is a slide/push game where your goal is to push your opponents out of the ring. Pushing discs may seem straightforward, but you’ve got to make sure you choose the right wrestler for the match, craft a strategy, and quickly adapt to changes. Each wrestler is based on a real life insect and their physiological defense mechanisms. They all have special signature moves which introduce wild variables and uniquely shaped pieces that can dramatically influence the gameplay - so make sure you use them wisely!
It’s quite simply the greatest disc-pushing insect sumo wrestling game ever made.
Out of Stock in Europe, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.
Go on an ant adventure and gather up the most delicious and valuable snacks to take back to the Ant Hill before the other ants get to them first!
Bites is an indirect-conflict commodity speculation game based on the Spiel des Jahres Recommended “Big Points” but with a new theme, more engaging components, and rule tweak cards to make sure every play is different.
Players move ants along a trail and collect food as they go. However, the value of that food depends on how the other ants move. Shared incentives mean you are always trying to figure out what the other players are up to. Sometimes you’ll want to eat all the green peppers, sometimes you might go after grapes, every game requires a different strategy and a fresh picnic!
On Tour USA and Europe
Out of stock in Australia and New Zealand.
You’re living the dream playing in a band that's about to go on tour. It's your job to try and visit as many US states or European countries as possible in 100-days.
On Tour is a 20 minute route-building, roll-and-write board game with large, premium components that's good for 1 to 8 players (but can be played with as many people who have maps!). Each turn, dice determine which numbers you write while cards restrict the places you can visit. Players write simultaneously on their own maps, all using the same dice rolls and cards flips. Everyone is getting the same inputs, but how you choose to deal with them will determine your band's success.
Opportunities for bonus points, and a variable setup phase ensure every tour faces new challenges!
QE (Quantitative Easing)
Out of stock in Europe, Australia, and New Zealand.
It's 2008 and the economy is crashing. You play as one of the largest nations in the world, and it is your job to save the economy by enacting QE (Quantitative Easing) measures and printing money to support collapsing companies.
QE is an auction game where you bail out companies and special industries to collect the most points. And since you are the central bank, you own the money printer and you can bid whatever you want. The only limit is your imagination. Go nuts from one to thirty quadrillion.
At the end of the game, total up all your winning bids by the amount of companies and special bonus points. Whoever has the most points wins. But be careful though - if you are the country who spends the most during the game, you’re out! It's a super interactive experience that turns auction gaming on its head.
Loot of Lima
Become a treasure hunting pirate in 1820’s Peru, searching Cocos Island and piecing together information to find a magnificent bounty before your opponents get to it first.
Loot of Lima is a deduction game where you ask questions and try to solve the mystery as fast as possible. During your search, you’ll utilize a clever coordinate system that provides the feeling of actually navigating the island and helps you eliminate the wrong locations on your quest for buried treasure. Three special ability tokens and a Co-Op play option add extra factors to consider and make each game as exciting as possible.
The rules may be straightforward but piecing together all the clues makes this the ultimate head scratching and thrilling puzzle.
GPS, Sequoia, and Mountain Goats
Here are three small and quick board games perfect for any occasion.
We love the end of the night when things are wrapping up, but you want to play *just one more game*. These games are the refreshing post-dinner sorbet on your gaming menu. They have the perfect ingredients:
- Fast gameplay (10 minutes to play)
- Quick to teach (start in 30 seconds)
- Tension and exciting moments
- The satisfaction of getting in one more quality game
This game series exists because we believe there should be more games like that. We've focused on easy to teach before, but these are SUPER easy to teach.
Don't let the simplicity trick you though. There is enough strategy that after the game your mind will wander back to a couple of key turns, and you'll wonder "Should I have played just a little bit differently?"
